The day has finally come where I can share this creation with the world! Hooray!

Notes from the Road is a travelogue of sorts—it’s a collection of memoirs and memories from my travel; poems and illustrations you can color in. It’s got crossword puzzles and word searches—journal prompts, too.

This zovella (zine/novella) is a creation I am incredibly proud of and incredibly grateful to call my own. Because that means I get to own my story, and in owning it, I get to share it with the world.

Owning our past, our present—our stories—that is owning our power.

Chimamanda Ngozi Adiche tells us there is danger in a single story, and for too long beings on the margins have been dangerously silent.

Let this be one voice of many; one story of learning lessons and earning the blessings that come when we truly understand the assignment.

So, without further ado, I present to you (eek!) my thesis of sorts—the culmination of my journey up, down, and around the road of life. This is: Notes from the Road by Spirit Hearts Song.
