I write love stories for black women because we deserve love—and lots of it! We deserve to have our stories told.

My charge as a writer is to uplift black women, to empower us to stand in our authenticity, and to promise us that when we heal our long-held wounds, we not only become the love we seek, but we attract it in as well. Happy endings are our right and I am here to help black women remember this.
